Our Faith
The Scriptures Inspired
The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

- 1 Thessalonians 2:13
- 2 Peter 1:21
The One True God
The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent “I AM,” the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

- (Deuteronomy 6:4)
- (Matthew 28:19

The Fall of Man
Man was created good and upright; for God said, “Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness.” However, man by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God.

The Salvation of Man
- The Plan of Redemption
Jesus Christ died for all of us while we were still sinners; He took the punishment for our sin. With His own blood, He purchased salvation and redemption for all who believe in Him. John 3:16, Isaiah 53:5, Titus 2:14
- Salvation Through Grace
Salvation is totally an act of God’s grace that is accessed through faith in Jesus Christ. No person can be good enough to earn salvation, and “being good” does not contribute to receiving God’s love and favor. Ephesians 2:8 & 13
- Repentance and Acceptance
When people repent for their sins and accept Christ, they are justified through Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross. To repent means to be sorry for sins, but it also means to turn away from a sinful lifestyle. Accepting Christ means believing in Him as the only Savior. To be justified means being declared “not guilty” in regard to sin.Romans 10:9-10, 1 John 1:9
- New birth
The change that takes place in people when they are “born again” is very real. They receive righteousness through Jesus Christ, and they are empowered by the Holy Spirit; therefore, they should have new desires, interests and pursuits. John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17
Jesus Suffered, Crucified, Died, Buried, and Rose Again
Jesus suffered and died for the sins of the world. He was mocked, beaten, whipped, and crucified by the Romans. Matthew 27:23-56
Jesus died and was buried in a tomb Matthew 27:57-60
Jesus was resurrected on the third day, John 20.
Jesus ascended into Heaven and will return to judge the world
40 days after resurrection, Jesus ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right Hand of God the Father. Mark 16:19-20
Jesus will return to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end. In Matthew 24:30
